Description & Requirements
(PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU WERE A MAGIC ELF IN 2025)
FOR 2026, RETURNERS ARE REQUIRED TO AUDITION.
About Lapland:
Based on the original stories of Mike and Alison Battle ‘Lapland’, the show, is a ground-breaking immersive theatrical production that brings to life the mythical elven world of Father Christmas. Lapland celebrates the wonderment of childhood through our magical world, rich story telling & memory making experiences.
Role Overview:
The role of a Magic Elf is a highly interactive, energetic role that requires confidence engaging and improvising with guests of all ages. A Magic Elf will spend more one-to-one time with our guests than most other roles found within the experience.
We are looking for great interactors, who are confident engaging with families – candidates who understand the importance of our purpose to ‘Honour Childhood Together.’
Many of our most successful colleagues have had no prior performance experience and we encourage applications from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
The role of Magic Elf is a highly energetic and physical role that will require long periods of standing and walking, in costume, on uneven woodland pathways.
The opportunity to Make Memories with our Small Folk is extremely rewarding, and many of our Magic Elf team return year after year to help us bring the Lapland experience to life.
Please remember that LaplandUK is a temporary, outdoor experience which takes place in a mix of natural woodland, temporary cabins and tent structures. Working in a temporary event environment is not for everyone, however, so we recommend you take this into consideration before you accept!
